Árnes Hús

Árnes Hús was once the first building to stand in Skagaströnd, and is now the town’s oldest. The house is beautifully intact with much of its original furniture preserved inside. Reminiscent of its rich past (Árnes Hús served as a midwife house from 1935 to the 1970s),  the house can be used as both an exhibition space and studio space for NES artists on personal arrangement.

If you’re interested in using Árnes Hús during your residency, please indicate this in your application.
