Michele Alborg is a Vancouver, Canada based painter. During her month at the NES Artist Residency, she expanded beyond her usual oil and large-scale canvas-based work, and explored small, paper-based acrylics and watercolours. She attempts to capture mumbles and unconscious thoughts, mixing imagery of the current Iceland setting with musings and memory. She searches for whimsy and joy with hints of melancholy and loss.
