Jaq Grantford is an award-winning Australian artist, specialising in fine art and portraiture who spent her time in Skagaströnd working on projects for upcoming exhibitions. Jaq also generously gave her time to visit students in Sauðárkrókur and presented a very entertaining talk about the stories behind many of her portraits and paintings. Jaq also gave a wonderful demonstration on how she starts a portrait with the help of Árskóli student Finnur.
