Dana Engfer is a Berlin-based multi-media artist. In each work she incorporates a wide variety of media such as drawing, collage, photography, video and books. Dana sees herself as a collector of different traces of time, memories and intermediate states, representing the atmosphere and story of specific environments by combining memory and fiction with documentary. She welcomes collaborations and prefers learning from snails
During her time at NES she is working on a Clouds and Ghosts Research Lab, exploring the different layers of in-betweenness.
She runs the independent publishing house Schnecken Publishing (@schneckenpublishing) together with Moritz Otto (@moritzotto)
