Growing up with artists in my family, I have always been connected to art. However, I decided to pursue a career in marketing and public relations at first and paint on the side.

The pandemic forced me to go inward and fostered some drastic changes in my life: I quit my job, moved from Germany to Southern France, and started focusing on my creative work again. Painting to me means exploring and being playful, it’s a great instrument to access the subconscious mind and to get in touch with emotions.

My time at NES made it clear to me that I want to focus on creative expression and its healing power professionally and helped me strengthen my decision to change my field of work and become an art therapist.
