Hannah Brinson is an American narrative artist and illustrator with a focus on picture book illustration. She works primarily in traditional media including pastels, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, and collage. Whether she is creating a stand alone piece, a series of illustrations, or an entire book, her art always begins with a story. Her aim is to draw viewers into the emotional world of the characters and to let them feel the same joy, sadness, or excitement that the characters experience and in doing so create a connection between the art and the audience.
