Jiyoon Hong is a Fine Art Photographer from South Korea. Her main themes are colour and photography. Most recently, she is working on her ‘Wonderland’ collection, which was inspired by fireworks. Jiyoon fuses landscape photography with colour data to create an artificial world.
Jiyoon is currently studying colour theory during her residency and is researching women and colours, two key themes of her next work. In addition, she is currently creating work with photos & videos from Skagaströnd.
‘This is a world for onlookers, fake from the beginning to the end. But if you have some faith in me, everything will be real.’
