My ongoing body of work is a years-long excavation of hyperlocal materials from my domestic space. This has included felled trees and microscopic critters found in water and dirt. The imagery and materials I use facilitate conversations about environmental wellness and humans’ multifaceted role in both microscopic and galactic-scale ecosystems. Often, partnerships and collaborations with scientists build upon one another to propel these ideas forward.
