Lucas Gervilla is a Brazilian visual artist and filmmaker based in Greifswald on the Baltic Sea’s German coast, where he develops part of his doctoral research. His works combine video and photography, relating topics such as the aesthetics of abandonment and memory. For the Lights Up Festival, Lucas is creating two video sculptures based on the fishing activities of Skagaströnd.
