Zoe Toakley is an artist from Australia whose work is an investigation into the effects of light through a material driven practice, questioning how certain materials can shape or inform perception and experience. She has recently been working with analogue photography and alternative darkroom processes in order to explore how different surfaces can be manipulated in order to create photographs that capture the pure distortion of light, rather than creating directly representational images.
