Stop-motion animation workshop
Students learned about the basic elements of stop-motion animation such as:
- filming frame by frame,
- lighting a stop-motion animation set
- story development
- making backgrounds
The students created their own animation set-backgrounds and stop-motion models, and
manipulated and filmed stop-motion characters, with the intent of creating a narrative.
They worked as a unit/in collaboration with each other, and understood the importance
of teamwork while making an animation.
